Don't Rush In
Whether you're purchasing a house, renovating, etc you are about to make a big decision. It is important that you do your homework and make sure you know what you are getting into. Don't be pushed into making a decision if you're not completely comfortable with absolutely everything. It is important that your builder is accessible, patient and answers every question you have. It is even more important that you understand exactly what you are signing up for before placing a deposit.
We will take all of the following factors into consideration when planning your project.
Quality of Materials
Our range of materials are not necessarily the cheapest but we pride ourselves on the quality of both the materials used and the workmanship. For example our Builder's Range Carpet is of commercial grade.
Site Levels and Cuts
Earth works add a major cost to the construction of a home not to mention the cost of removing the excess soil. It is a good idea to obtain estimates from the builder before signing contracts.
Design
Whilst standard designs can be cheaper, we advise you to think long term. You should be completely satisfied with your new home. Sometimes you need to deviate from the standard designs to ensure your individual needs will be met. We are very happy to help you personalise your home.
Access
Gaining access past powerlines, through laneways, past overhanging trees and on sloping sites all add to the total cost. We take these obstacles into account and discuss them with you where necessary.
Trees and Easements
Some trees cannot be removed from the property without council approval and in some instances approval is not granted. Buildings cannot be constructed on or over easements. These issues may require changes to be made in the footing design which will increase the overall costs. We help you plan around these obstacles prior to the commencement of construction.
