How long does it take to build a house?

The duration of the construction process depends on the size and complexity of the project. For a standard, 18 square house with a double garage, it generally takes 15 weeks from commencement on site.

Can I change the bench tops, tiles, carpets, etc?

Of course you can, it's your house and it's very important to us that you're happy with the final product. Just give us as much notice as possible please!

Can my friend, brother, father, etc do the plumbing, electrical work, etc?

Our tradesmen are highly skilled in their fields. It is important that we oversee all work undertaken on your project, therefore all elements of the project are to be carried out by our staff and contractors only. This is for the following reasons:

1. Insurance: to ensure that your project remains covered by building insurance, public liability, workers compensation, covered for theft and so on and it is the only way that we can maintain our strict OH&S standards.
2. Damage: A third party may cause damage which we are not prepared to take responsibility for.
3. Time: We have a schedule to keep and can't rely on third parties to stick to our schedule. Delays cost money and we would have to pass on the additional costs to the client
4. Warranty: Only work carried out by our contractors and staff is covered by the Home Owner's Warranty. If a third party works on the project the warranty is void.

Can I have a key?

We can't issue you with a key until the project is completed for insurance purposes and to prevent damage. It is important that we maintain complete control over the site prior to the handover. However, we are happy to meet you on site, so don't hesitate to call us to arrange a time.
